I suspect that now is not the time to by a 360 actually. There have been rumors of a price reduction soon, and also its expected that a hardware revision will happen in the summer.

Hmm, I'm not sure if there's anyway to ask that without spoilers... hmmm... how many missions have you completed?
ETA: PS3 is going to get a hardware revision too. They've shrunk the blu-ray diode and the heatsinks are waaaaay smaller. When it'll be release is not yet known.
