I suspect that now is not the time to by a 360 actually. There have been rumors of a price reduction soon, and also its expected that a hardware revision will happen in the summer.

ETA: PS3 is going to get a hardware revision too. They've shrunk the blu-ray diode and the heatsinks are waaaaay smaller. When it'll be release is not yet known.

Laga, if you're asking if original Xbox games will play on a 360 the answer is "some". they have a list of backward compatible titles tucked away somewhere on Xbox.com. The list occasionally gets expanded.

Utter, sheer, and did I mention utter crap!
In my defense, I didn't play the past ones -- only watched. So I'm still doing a lot of crashing into streetlight poles and, yes, sending myself flying through windscreens. Good times! Progress-wise, I'm doing a lot of wandering around rather than trying to get through anything fast, and having a great time of it.
