Well, well - a little centurion whispered in Our ear that they left Our glorious fleet behind. And a bunch of their people, too. That's both annoying and a source of glee.

MOVE: to Caprica (ah - feel that hard radiation? So refreshing! Makes non-silicon flesh slide right off the bones like overcooked chicken!)

ACTION: Activate the space, draw 2 Crisis cards, and play one. (Billytea has sent me my choices already)

I choose:

Hangar Accident!

Some other details: Apollo 13 drew a Green and a Red card. The Crisis card he rejected is discarded. All discards are public knowledge; it was Loss of a Friend.

The one he has chosen is:

Hangar Accident
Skill Check (10 PRB).

We will pauses for interrupts (Investigative Committee and Scientific Research). Could Boomer and Dr Baltar announce whether they pass or play on interrupts; all players can also send me COs if they have them.

I need recommendations for a game: has to be playable by adults and smart teens. Limited reliance on luck. Can't take hours to play or be hard to learn.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Depends on the number of people. If 3-4, and they like cards, one of the Mystery Rummy games might be good: [link]

Both Jack the Ripper and Murders in the Rue Morgue can play with 4.

Or are you looking for a German-style game?

Hm. Maybe the cooperative Lord of the Rings games? (Even though I've never, ever WON a game? I still think they're fun.)

Not too complex, and being menaced by the One-Eyed Cat of Doom (aka the "Sauron" piece) is hysterical.

2-3 people. They like Settlers of Catan and Cleopatra/Architects.

Jack the Ripper is good for three.

Of course, there's always Bohnanza, but maybe there's too much luck of the draw in that.
