That's not too far off the prices here. We paid US$68 for Agricola, but that was 20% internet sale price. Still, I guess it is a third again as expensive.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

I will say, there condo *was* a gamers heaven. MM & Aims, your bookcase... ya, they had 4 of those loaded with RPG books. Then, in the, uh, bar area I guess you'd call it, they had 4 rolling bookshelves squished together FILLED with games ready to be sold. Just about EVERYTHING. All the Catan's (except the $400 hand carved one), Munchkin, BSG, ok, maybe not EVERYTHING, but a whole hell of a lot. Apparently there was even more upstairs.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

The President has made her choice: -1 Food. That was easy.

Cylon Activation: Raiders. They move from Sector 2 to Sector 3.

Jump Prep: Yes. Advances to the first space.

This concludes Apollo's turn. Boomer, your turn is about to begin. I'm sending you your cards. When you're ready, please post your action.

Administrative note: Boomer's card draw exhausted the Piloting deck, so I have reshuffled the discards.

Dualla also tells me I could stand to lose a few pounds; all this stress-induced binge-eating is taking its toll, and I'm glad I'm Admiral now, and not really CAG - I don't think I could fit in my pressure suit.

Don't get any ideas about your pet airlock, Madame President. But thanks for the externally-enforced fast.

Boomer's given me orders: Activate the Brig.

This is a Skill Check (7 YP). If it passes, Boomer may move to any location on Galactica. We shall pause for interrupts (Investigative Committee or Scientific Research). We'll start the check in 12 hours or after everyone has passed. If you know what you'll play into the check, send me COs.

As a side note, the game seems to be slowing down at the moment. If anything, as long as most people are in the Brig it should be moving faster. I would like to encourage people to do the following:

1. When it's your turn, give your move and action within 24 hours at the outside, or at least start discussion on it. You know your turn is coming up, you can start giving it some thought beforehand.

2. When I call for interrupts, don't just let the clock run out. If you intend to pass, say so.

3. Use COs. They make a skill check move much faster. You can give me COs for other things too, like move and action or card draw where you have a choice.

4. Anything that's public and it's your turn to post it (such as your move and action), you can send them to me, but it's faster to post them in-thread. That's all I'll be doing with them anyway.

5. If you have any rules questions, questions about the state of play, or want to check your options, send me an email. If you're not sure what you should do on your turn, you can ask your fellow players. (This doesn't have to wait for your turn to arrive either.)

Keeping up the momentum makes the game more engaging for everyone. It also means that you'll get out of the Brig faster (in real time). Let's see how we go over this phase.

Cheers

I now have passes on interrupts from everyone bar Baltar. There's about an hour left before we start the check (Adama first, finishing with Boomer). As a reminder, everyone in the Brig (i.e. everyone except Apollo) can play no more than one card into the check.
