Boomer's given me orders: Activate the Brig.

This is a Skill Check (7 YP). If it passes, Boomer may move to any location on Galactica. We shall pause for interrupts (Investigative Committee or Scientific Research). We'll start the check in 12 hours or after everyone has passed. If you know what you'll play into the check, send me COs.

As a side note, the game seems to be slowing down at the moment. If anything, as long as most people are in the Brig it should be moving faster. I would like to encourage people to do the following:

1. When it's your turn, give your move and action within 24 hours at the outside, or at least start discussion on it. You know your turn is coming up, you can start giving it some thought beforehand.

2. When I call for interrupts, don't just let the clock run out. If you intend to pass, say so.

3. Use COs. They make a skill check move much faster. You can give me COs for other things too, like move and action or card draw where you have a choice.

4. Anything that's public and it's your turn to post it (such as your move and action), you can send them to me, but it's faster to post them in-thread. That's all I'll be doing with them anyway.

5. If you have any rules questions, questions about the state of play, or want to check your options, send me an email. If you're not sure what you should do on your turn, you can ask your fellow players. (This doesn't have to wait for your turn to arrive either.)

Keeping up the momentum makes the game more engaging for everyone. It also means that you'll get out of the Brig faster (in real time). Let's see how we go over this phase.

Cheers

I now have passes on interrupts from everyone bar Baltar. There's about an hour left before we start the check (Adama first, finishing with Boomer). As a reminder, everyone in the Brig (i.e. everyone except Apollo) can play no more than one card into the check.

Ok, let's start the skill check to free Boomer. Destiny adds two cards. Adama starts, and Boomer will finish off the check.

Crap, that's right. I can only play one. So, those CO I sent you BT, ya, halve that, I guess. Dang it. Just because I *want* out, doesn't mean I get to play more cards. :: kicks dirt ::

BT, am I allowed to announce my intentions, in hopes of swaying the jury?

"Hey everybody. Look how much I want to get out of the brig. It means I'm a good guy, and not a cylon. So... vote for me!"

Yeah, no.

I sent COs last night, but I'll say it here,

I play no cards. (It is my turn to play into the crisis, yes? I sent COs...)
