The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Are we going to have Play-n-Post?

Nope, because his computer is not in the same room as the XBox, and while I love him very much, I don't think he needs to use my laptop to burble at everyone while playing GTA4. I'm mean like that.

I don't know if Portal's out for the Mac, but we played it on the PC. Given its popularity, it would be stupid not to have a Mac version.

I think Valve (makers of Portal) support PC, XBox 360, and PS3 only. They would have to port their Source engine to Mac to do Portal, so it's pretty doubtful.

Well, the whole setup of Orange Box on the PC was pretty sucky, so I can't say I'm surprised. I don't know if it's as insane on consoles.

"I've got a gun! I've got a mother-flippin' gun!" - Moss, The IT Crowd

GTA has been fun, even if I did get beaten up on the street before I'd learn where the melee buttons were...

The Liberty City Public Radio is excellent listening.

The cars do indeed handle more realistically making high-speed cornering a bitch.

Oh, and while not driving all that fast, I turned a corner and discovered 3 cops cars blocking the road RIGHT THERE responding to an NPC generated situation. I couldn't brake in time, rear-ended one of the cops and then had to drive like hell as I was now Wanted. Not exactly an auspicious start to my criminal career.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Huh. So that's what "drives like a bitch" means.

while not driving all that fast

What, only 40 in a 25 mph zone?

Update: GTA is installing upstairs. I am pondering the user manual for the Mario Kart steering wheel (I'm not sure what's so hard about this -- you put a wiimote in the steering wheel. You turn the wheel. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes... it rains.)
