My favorite character creation game is Warlords. Warlord 4 gives so many different options for hero creation, 'tis ridonkulous. I've got characters who combine brute force with nature magic, nature and fire magic, dragonlords, dark elves, demons, endless possibities. I've run the main campaign through once with one of my heroes after I built him up to about level 20 (he's now at level 54, I don't play him anymore, there's no challenge.) I've got 5 other heroes that I'm in process of beefing up with smaller scenarios until I think they're ready to hit the big time.

Yes, Portal is a wonderful & devious game.
I have GTA IV. It is running on my Xbox.
The opening credits & sequence were beautifully 'filmed'. If this were a film I would know I was about to watch something where the director knew how to actually tell a story.
My in-game cousin has, after I drove very slowly to get used to the controls, informed me that I "drive like a bitch". Ah, good times, good times.
