Yes, that's what the computer game lets you do.

PANDEMIC.

Huh, that's weird. I definitely feel like I have had Quiet Night and Forecast in hand and it didn't give me the option to pause before Infect Cities.

OMG, I just realized this whole time I have been playing this game there was a box checked to explicitly do this! Or not do this, as the case may be. (It's in Options.)

No wonder Contingency Expert is the only character I haven't liked playing with.

I really felt really bad for our Contingency Planner in the last game, it took almost to the end of the game to finally get an event card.

So, hold onto the event cards for now?

That is certainly a problem with that character. My bigger problem is that I totally forget to use their special retrieve ability on their turn.

And, yes, I would hold for now.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

PANDEMIC

I'm good with that too. The last epidemic is our biggest remaining threat.

PANDEMIC

(recap...)

The Medic takes a train to Montreal. Then charters a flight on Gulfstream G650ER to Beijing. Then he goes on a voyage of curing all the way to Taipei.

Next, he draws Lima, and an event... Forecast!

Meanwhile zombies go crazy in Cairo putting it on the brink, and the red death re-appears in Shanghai and spreads in Tokyo (curse you red death! - The red death is personal for the Medic)

The Situation:

My thought is that the Dispatcher can move the Cairo, kill one cube worth of zombies, then move to Baghdad and bamf the Scientist there (remembering that Jakarta is the new Cairo).
