Buffy: A Guide, but no water or food. So it leads me to the sacred place and then a week later it leads you to my bleached bones? Giles: Buffy, really. It takes more than a week to bleach bones.

All righty, then:

Treat all of HCM City

Move to Bangkok

Treat all of Bangkok

Dispatch the Medic to Atlanta

What's the story, morning glory?

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I mean, it's six-of-one whether Cairo or Bangkok will turn out to be the one we should have cleared. On the other other hand, it is about time to start saving Black cards. What do our card-counters say?

I think we've burned at least three Black cards already, so saving some would be good.

Cairo and Bangkok have equal odds of resurfacing after the next epidemic. Once you clear Vietnam, if Bangkok has an outbreak, it won't threaten anywhere else. Cairo may threaten Algiers if things go badly.

If we have enough time to get the Blue cure (i.e. to the Medic's next turn), then Black will be our only real hotspot left. (Plus, possibly, wherever the next epidemic hits). At that point, things start to feel quite manageable.

Huh, we've almost completely eradicated Red. That's rather nice.

PANDEMIC

The Dispatcher dispatches hundreds of local health care workers to distribute the red death cure throughout Ho Chi Minh City. Then she takes a late bus to Thailand and in one night in Bangkok, she organizes the infrastructure to spread the cure. The city didn't know what the city was getting. With the red death wiped out in Vietnam and Thailand, she arranges a charter flight for the Medic to Atlanta on a Honda HA-420 HondaJet.

The Researcher draws Miami (Yellow) and Chennai (Black). Meanwhile, red death continues to hang on, spreading in Shanghai. Zombies also start to overrun Mumbai which is now on the brink.

A+ comment; everything but Yul Brynner.

Right! Zombieland is worsening; in addition to Cairo and Mumbai, Algiers may not be much further away either. However, nothing's going over the edge until we see the next epidemic, and we're on the clock to get these cures too. Anyone have concerns with me spreading sunshine to the Scientist and raining on the Medic's parade?

I don't see anything to change the plan, although I may want to head to Mumbai to fight some zombies on my turn.

Just keep it above the waistline, as they say.

I've consulted with the Braaaainns Trust about what we should do. His advice: "I suggest we win." We interpret it thus:

Pass Sao Paulo to the Scientist
Activate the Stargate to reach Atlanta
Pass San Francisco and Essen to the Medic

Ok, card me.

PANDEMIC

The Researcher hands over an SD card packed with epidemiology reports from Sao Paulo before catching a station to station flight to Atlanta. Once in Atlanta, the Researcher meets up with the medic at CDC headquarters and gives a presentation on COVID mitigation in San Francisco and Essen.

Then the Research draws Los Angeles (Yellow) and Istanbul (Black). Meanwhile, Zombies multiply in Algiers, putting it on the brink and yellow spreads in Mexico City.
