A thread for the discussion of games: board, LARP, MMORPG, video, tabletop RPG, game theory etc. etc. and all attendant news, developments and ancillary subjects thereof, as well as coordinating/scheduling games either online or IRL. All are welcome to chime in, talk about their favorite games or learn about gaming of any sort.
PLEASE TO WHITEFONT SPOILERS for video games, RPG modules or anything for which foreknowledge of events might lessen one's enjoyment of whatever gaming experience.

The two options I see are:
1) Treat Mexico City and head to Buenos Aires (to be moved to Tokyo on the Dispatcher's next turn)
2) Take a direct flight to Beijing, treat Seoul, head to Shanghai (to be joined by the Dispatcher, who will build a Research Station)

I kinda like option 1. We're not in immediate danger of a double outbreak and I can fly to Asia if an epidemic hits and things get bad there.
That sets us up for a quick cure to yellow, which would be great.

I have a mild preference for option 2, but really they're both good choices. I'm happy with either one

My gut is telling me 1, but maybe that's just because I'm craving Mexican food.

Option 1 does have the advantage of not burning a card of a color we haven't cured yet.

Move to Mexico City

Double move to Buenos Aires

The Scientist gets a lift in a Cessna to Mexico City where, using her big brain, she reverses the polarity of a massive radio tower, wiping out yellow plague in the city. Then she takes the same Cessna back to Bogota and from there takes a bus to Buenos Aires.
Then Taipei (Red) is drawn followed by... an epidemic. Shanghai is consumed by red plague, then infection spreads to Seoul which causes an outbreak, which causes Shanghai to outbreak, which causes Tokyo to outbreak. Oh, and more black plague in Algiers.
So, yeah, East Asia is a horror show.

So... I've got to clear out Tokyo, right? We have to get Tokyo and Shanghai off the brink ASAP, but I don't see how I can get both. I can do one or the other (though I need to burn both my cards to do Shanghai).
The good news is that we can't get another epidemic for the next three turns. The bad news is that we don't need an epidemic for disaster.

What a nightmare. But a bigger nightmare may be the fact that I seem to be in Sao Paolo. Can that be corrected?
Aaaaagh. I can't figure out a way to change that. It doesn't let you save, just continue where you left off last. Today is not my day.
We could start over if everybody wants. There's a chance my turn will be the last anyhow.
