The night is quiet.
I flew to Osaka, treated, then took a boat to Taipei and treated there as well. Then I drew Montreal and Washington, and plague spread in Madrid and Paris.
The CP may now use an action to retrieve the One Quiet Night card from the discard pile until it has been retrieved.
I really like the idea of a research station in St. Petersburg now that the Researcher has three blue cards. A blue cure feels a lot closer.

The One Quiet Night was just on my/our turn. Those are the infection cards for the Researcher's turn.

Oh, I misread the turn, NVM. I'm going to leave the Event Card in the discards for now, I can't spare an action from:
Triple move to St Petersburg
Build Research Center in St Petersburg.

The CP moved to St. Petersburg and build a research station. After that Khartoum was drawn and then all hell broke loose. An epidemic was drawn, placing three yellow cubes in Kinshasa.
Then came three infections. The first hit Istanbul which was an outbreak. The next hit Lagos, putting it on the brink. And then, came Kinshasa, which was an outbreak and caused Lagos to outbreak.
It's bad.

I think the medic has to clear Cairo and Baghdad. If we somehow make it to the Researcher's turn I can defuse New York. At that point, the CP can get One Quiet Night and defuse Paris. Maybe we'll have gotten another event card by then and we might still have a chance.

Yeah, we're doomed. Ah well. I agree, we need to put out fires as far as possible. The Red cure will have to wait.

The Medic visits Cairo and Baghdad, curing all. Then Manila(Red) and Algiers(Black) are drawn. A couple of cards will need to be discarded.

Discard Lima and Manila. I wouldn't mind being able to bounce to Yellow in a hurry, but we already have that cure and South America is the least of our worries right now.
