PANDEMIC
So it was written, so shall it be. The Medic takes a charter flight to Algiers with the red cure in his pocket and then eradicates all the zombies. Then the Medic draws Delhi(Black) and.... an event!!!! One Quiet Night.
Decisions need to be made...

PANDEMIC
If we do One Quiet Night now. I, the research lady, can go to Bangkok, fly to Milan, build a research station, and move to Paris to hand cards to CP. CP can pick up the discarded One Quiet Night move to Paris and get my two black cards. The CP can use One Quiet Night again if things get out of control in East Asia before the Medic can fly to Taipei and start working his magic.
PANDEMIC
Given that our CP can pick this back up, should I play it now? One might suggest it's most valuable later on when we're drawing more infection cards per round, but we could really do with a guarantee that Osaka-Taipei will wait for our Researcher to get there (and hopefully allow the CP to deal with New York).

Ah. I'm afraid I took Bangkok off you - I figured you needed to keep Osaka to deal with the hotspot there.

Alternatively, it's a bit of a hike, but on his next turn the CP could make it over to St Petersburg and build a station there. I can then do the Red cure on my next turn and clear out Istanbul on the way. That'd put all of us in research stations at that point, so it'd be relatively easy to get together and swap cards.
PANDEMIC
Ugh, I was looking at an image one turn back. Yeah, I should just head to Osaka. Normally, I would say save One Quiet Night, but since we have a CP who can reuse it, it might be worth it to play now. If we get a double outbreak, we've only got two outbreaks left. OTOH, there are plenty of red cubes even with a double outbreak so maybe we should wait for a more dire situation. It neither Taipei or Osaka come up at the end of this turn we'll be in great shape.
Really would like to get to a point where Mr. Medic can cure red on his next turn. The CP could build a research station in Khartoum though that will take 4 actions.

I think St Petersburg might be a better location. It's closer to the Black hotspot, and I can cure Istanbul on my way there. But it'd still take him four actions.
PANDEMIC
That would burn a blue card instead of a yellow, but it is pretty unlikely the CP could hold onto both blue cards and still build up the cards to cure black.
PANDEMIC
I assume One Quiet Night means no new infections this turn? I'd say go ahead and use it, we're still kind of precarious.
PANDEMIC
Yeah, let's do it.
Play One Quiet Night
