It looks like we're well-placed to slam the door on yellow early. If Medic and CP head south, we can trade one card on each of our turns and clear out the existing infection at the same time.

That's a really good point. With the CP having Bogota and San Paulo and those cities right next to each other, it would be pretty easy to get them to the Medic. That's better than my idea of transferring Beijing to the Medic which will fill up the Medic's card limit too fast if we are going after yellow. It he CP and Medic head south to do that, then I could burn my Tehran card and fly there to start putting out that fire.

MEDIC: Move Miami
Move Mexico City
Treat Mexico City
Move Bogota
RESEARCHER: Move Tehran
Treat TehranX3
CP: Move Chicago
Treat Chicago
Move Mexico City
Move Bogota
Then next turn the Medic can grab my card, treat Bogota and clear it, then move to Sao Paolo which is the other card I need to pass.
This would all be contingent on what cards come up during our turns, of course.

I might suggest a couple of tweaks.
Chicago isn't too bad, so maybe CP move to Miami (1), move to Bogota (2), exchange Bogota card (3), move to San Paulo and be ready for the Medic there.
I think maybe I should just treat once in Tehran to get it off the brink, and then move to Mumbai so on my next turn I can knock off one cube there and one cube in Bangkok. Of course, everything could change by that time :)

I'll go ahead and do my Researcher turn. I'm going to fly to Tehran, treat the zombie plague once, then catch a train to Karachi, and then finally drive to Mumbai.
Oh no, bad things happened. I drew Ho Chi Minh City and an Epidemic. The Epidemic put Istanbul on the brink, turned the situation worse in Chicago, and put Osaka on the brink.Things are starting to get a little scary in Asia.
The situation:
