I'm finally taking the time to play through Alien: Isolation on the Xbox. It's years old and is the first game I've taken the time to play since we actually purchased the Xbox One. Kristin plays a lot of games, I just got way out of the cycle of turning on the game systems and playing.
Gaming 1: You are likely to be eaten by a grue
A thread for the discussion of games: board, LARP, MMORPG, video, tabletop RPG, game theory etc. etc. and all attendant news, developments and ancillary subjects thereof, as well as coordinating/scheduling games either online or IRL. All are welcome to chime in, talk about their favorite games or learn about gaming of any sort.
PLEASE TO WHITEFONT SPOILERS for video games, RPG modules or anything for which foreknowledge of events might lessen one's enjoyment of whatever gaming experience.
I go through phases with my free time. I'll do video games for awhile, then I'll stop playing video games entirely and read books and then a few months later I'll binge a bunch of TV/Movies before eventually cycling back to video games.
Kalshane are you playing as Cassandra or the other dude? I haven't played Assassin's Creed, but lots of buzz I read said to be sure to play as Cassandra.
Broke out Ring Fit Adventure for the first time yesterday. Very fun and cute! And does a great job calibrating so my 5 and 8 year old children and I were all able to do appropriate exercise for our strength and fitness levels.
I'm playing as Kassandra. I thought she looked cooler than dudeface.
I'm almost done with Jedi Fallen Order. I can definitely recommend it if you like exploring, challenging sword combat, or Star Wars. The combat challenge can be turned down to very easy if that's not your thing but I'm loving playing it on hard. Getting myself ready for Bloodborne.
Jedi Fallen Order is on my list of games to eventually pick up. I have enough backlog right now that I'm comfortable waiting for a Black Friday sale or a $20 GOTY Edition.
Still struggling with Assassin's Creed Odyssey. All it's really doing right now is making me want to play through Horizon Zero Dawn a third time.
Time to quit my friend.
...if you like exploring, challenging sword combat....
I had to quit the fencing/swordplay games in my Wii because I kept unconsciously advancing on my opponent and it was putting my TV at risk.
Haha, this isn't motion controls, but yeah. I wish there were switch fencing games, and real boxing games too, with motion controls, I'd play a motion controlled punch out every day.
Apparently Beatsaber (VR game) is the way to go for that feeling.
