Can I just take a moment to say "Thank God for VTTs?" We've got a potentially nasty winter weather system hitting us this weekend and the fact that I can just tell my players "Hey, let's play online tomorrow night so everyone can stay warm and safe at home" is huge.

Ooh yeah we use Tabletop Simulator and Skype (somehow skype ended up being the thing that works best with our group).
Hey so you may have seen my post on Facebook but I was wondering if anyone would pay to have D&D brought to your facebook. I have lots of details how it would work if anyone is interested.
Right. Tell me about Tabletop Simulator. Asking for a friend.
My buddy who's a DM said it was challenging to set up properly for the kind of campaign they wanted to run -- so there's definitely a notable learning curve. It seems like if you put enough hours in you'll get the experience you want.
Just finished Horizon Zero Dawn (I know I'm 3 years late to the party.) Holy shit was that a good game.
As if I didn't love him enough!
Playing the Final Fantasy 7 Remake. (Spoilers for around the 15-20 hour marks.)
Even though I knew it was going to happen, Jessie's death broke me. The whole sequence with her blaming herself for the unintended destruction created by her bombs (not realizing that Shinra intentionally created a larger explosion to turn the people against her team) and being upset that she was making Tifa cry. And then her and Biggs' deaths essentially being for nothing. At least Wedge got to save a bunch of civilians before he went out and died while trying to save his cats.
I don't know how I'm going to handle it when the original game's most infamous moment happens.
Damn video game giving me feels.
My covid video game addiction has been XCOM2. I even have a video of one of the missions. [link] It's not exactly an impressive thing to watch, but my son had heard of it, but didn't know what gameplay was like so I recorded it.
I just started Zelda - Legend Breath of the Wild on Switch. First game on Switch, definitely a challenge to learn how to work all the controls in tandem.
