The game is afoot! This is game 6. We have three returning players, namely omnis, Connie and Laga. But that's not all, for this game we have a new player. He's a bit nervous, but looking forward to it. Race for the Galaxy is one of his favourites. I've made good on my threat before the last game; the fourth player is Ryan. What I don't have is everyone's choice of Action card for Round 1. If you haven't sent it to me yet, please do so.
Meanwhile, a quick look at the goals in this game.
Most
- Most developments in one's layout. Need at least 4.
- Greatest military strength. Need at least 6. At the moment, everyone's military strength is 0. (We had this goal in the last game too.)
First
- First to play a 6-cost development (we had this one last game)
- First to have a power in each phase, including a trade power
- First to have 5 VPs in chips (i.e. from consumption, not layout value or other goals)
- First to have a production and/or windfall world in each colour (Blue, Brown, Green and Yellow)
At present, omnis has powers in two phases, while Ryan and Laga have one phase covered. (Connie has none.) Conversely, omnis has only a grey world, so no colours yet. Connie, Ryan and Laga each have one colour so far.
No one has any military, or developments, or (obviously) a 6-cost development, or any VPs. Let the games begin!

omnis: Phase I (+1/+1) - Explore (draw +1 card, keep +1 card)
Connie Neil: Phase II - Develop
Ryan: Phase IV ($) - Consume (Trade)
Laga: Phase I (+1/+1) - Explore (draw +1 card, keep +1 card)
We'll start off with some exploring. omnis and Laga chose this phase. They both look at 3 cards (not the same ones) and keep 2. Connie and Ryan look at 2 cards and keep 1.
