Hmm. It's sounds like the finest party I can imagine getting paid to go to.

Our wings are not tired

BSG

Okay, I need to dig into my email and pick up from where I was at, but I'm feeling like I'm good to pick up again. How does the rest of the BSG gang feel?

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Heh. I totally did. And it was my first-ever straight romance in a Bioware game -- my character was totally intended to be a lesbian until the Bull turned out to be the most trans-friendly character in the history of all pop culture ever and I said HMMMMM.

This is actually a bit of a hangup with the Dorian plan, because apparently if you don't romance either of them, they totes fall in luuuurrrrve.

I may have to seize the cat.

Yes, I've enjoyed listening to them flirt. If I do a third playthrough, I'm going to go female elf and go after Solas, so maybe I'll get to hear their lovers' banter.

Iron Bull: trans-friendly, thoughtful enough to insist on a safe word. Delightful.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Dorian is awesome. He and my first Inquisitor ended up BFFs. I was extremely disappointed when I ran out of new dialogue with him.

What's also cool is the number of posts I've seen on several forums where people say "I'm a straight guy and I was planning on my Inquisitor being straight but then he met Dorian." (Of course there's also a lot less-approving posts, but that, unfortunately, should surprise no one.)

I romanced Josephine first time around, which was very sweet and fairy-tale-ish, but I'm going to pursue Cassandra my next time through. I want to say Cassandra and Dorian (especially based on my impression of her from DA2) were the characters that surprised me the most at how much I loved them. I love Iron Bull as well, but just about every review of the game talked about how great he was.

Starting to watch Star Wars: Rebels after spending so much time playing DA:I was a little odd, though. (Freddie Prinze Jr. voices both Bull in DA:I and Kadan on SW:R.)

For some reason I romanced Blackwall, and it's so boring!

I romanced Blackwall before I did the Iron Bull quest, and didn't realize how awesome Iron Bull was.

I'm seriously considering breaking it off with Blackwall and romancing Iron Bull, but I'm afraid how that would effect the storyline.

I don't think it would change that much, but I don't know. I'm deliberately playing a jerky Inquisitor who loves being worshipped right now, and Blackwall blew me off. I wasn't going to be a romance possibility for him anyway, but he is just really mad at me for my big ego and won't even give me information.

Will romanced Josephine while I was romancing Iron Bull, and those trajectories are so different that I think he was kind of disappointed. He's going for Cassandra this time.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I'm ready to run the game whenever the crew is up to it.

I got an inordinate amount of joy in my Inquisitor getting to play the part of Mal in "Shindig" (sort of) so I'm sure that colored my perception, somewhat.

I will say, and this has been the constant problem with Bioware romances, is they don't have much effect on the game once the wooing portion of the romance is over. Josephine called my Inquisitor by affectionate names in a couple of non-romance cut scenes, and I could invite her to go make out with me in the garden, but that was about it. Though I did get an amusing little cutscene with Dorian about it, as well.

I may have to seize the cat.

Will began that quest and immediately said, "I'm alright." Skipped great and good. I do wish there was more to do after the wooing was done. Iron Bull certainly gives you more to work with than Josephine seems to, but I agree that it would be nice for it to have a longer-lasting impact on the game.
