You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

This time around, Zarek drops the controversy. Will it still work for him? Controversy is kind of his shtick. Everyone passes on interrupts:

Die roll: 6. Pass! Zarek raises Morale even without threatening to blow something up!

It's been a good turn for the humans so far. What would make it better? Probably, in no particular order, a jump icon, no raider activation, maybe a crisis card with no resources under threat? Chief's crisis card is:

Detector Sabotage
Skill Check (8 GP)

Possible interrupts: IC, SR, RO, ASC, Reckless. Everyone, please pass or play.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

BSG (Romo)

Oh, raising 2 Morale on one turn? It's not like that can't be undone in one turn. It's not like that hasn't happened twice already.

"...and then Legolas and the Hulk destroy the entire Greek army." - Penny Arcade

BSG(President Speechy)

Did anyone hear something? Like the clanking and grinding of a machine spinning its wheels fruitlessly?

More seriously, is there any reason we shouldn't TANK this check?

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

BSG ("Chief" Galen Tyrol)

I see no reason to waste cards.

So, are those actual votes to tank, or just discussion?

Seriously, since the humans will actually be better off by tanking (no chance of accidentally triggering a Final Five card), I will take those as votes for tanking, to which Kat concurs as well. The check is tanked! Destiny reveals:

Declare Emergency 5
Dradis Contact 0

Tally: 5 - 0 = 5. Fail. Heh, you finally get a helpful Destiny, and it's for a check you don't care about. However, it still just has to throw in some Treachery, and two new raiders appear in Sector 1.

In more interesting news, the heavy raiders activate again, and Galactica is boarded! For this game, I shall be naming the Centurions for the fossilised creatures discovered in the Burgess Shale. Please welcome your nemeses, Hallucigenia, Opabinia and Wiwaxia! Finally, the jump track advances. Finally? Not so, for this is the turn of the Mutineer! Chief draws another mutiny card. This takes him to three, and he joins Zarek in the Brig! Choices of mutiny are going to Zarek. President Zarek, when you're ready, please advise which card to give to Chief.

Of course we get the jump icon on my turn.

:: sigh ::

Howdy Mr President.

Chief Mutineer has overloaded on mutiny, and must discard one card. From the Brig. He has discarded Scavenging for Parts.

That concludes Chief's turn. Romo has opted to draw 1 Red and 1 Treachery. Romo, when you're ready, please post your move and action.

Hey, I went back to Caprica and found a Mysterious Guide !

I choose Option 2. He's a very depressing guide.

Option 2 means that Morale falls by 1! This guide knew nothing about Galactica's rich history! And he thought that the Twelve Tribes had come from Skaro!

That concludes Romo's turn. Zarek's cards are going out. President Zarek the Incarcerated, when you're ready, please post your move (ahem) and action.
