Gaming 1: You are likely to be eaten by a grue
A thread for the discussion of games: board, LARP, MMORPG, video, tabletop RPG, game theory etc. etc. and all attendant news, developments and ancillary subjects thereof, as well as coordinating/scheduling games either online or IRL. All are welcome to chime in, talk about their favorite games or learn about gaming of any sort.
PLEASE TO WHITEFONT SPOILERS for video games, RPG modules or anything for which foreknowledge of events might lessen one's enjoyment of whatever gaming experience.
I have never played Junta. I do, however, own it, and look forward to the day when I can give it a whirl.

Policy on side conversations is I'd rather avoid them. My feeling is that in a F2F game of BSG, it wouldn't really be part of the spirit of the game, so I'd rather avoid it here too.
Conversely, you can talk to me as much as you like, though I don't promise I'll be helpful.
BSG
I opt for losing 2 population.
BSG
Very well. The bad news is, you've just lost a sixth of the Fleet. The good news is, the lost portion included all the whiners, so Morale is holding steady. (Just thematically, I love that you only lose the Morale if you get these people back.)
Let's finish up the card:
Cylon:
Raiders activate. Somewhere. Probably where the lost ships are. But not here, as your space is empty. No effect.
Jump Prep:
Yes. Advance to Red 2.
We're missing one small thing, I neglected to ask Dr Baltar what he would like to draw with his Delusional Intuition. Once I have that, I'll post the end-of-turn summary and we'll move on to Apollo's turn. (Apollo, as you're in Sickbay you draw only 1 Skill Card. You can email me your choice, and your move and action if you wish.)
BSG
Baltar should have remembered too. Sorry about that- card choice sent.
BSG
Baltar has chosen to draw a Blue card.

Has anybody played Cineplexity? I just read a glowing review.
I hadn't even heard of Cineplexity, but it sounds kind of cool. Like Apples to Apples but without the subjective aspect.
It also sounds like it could be a whack-pack for coming up with ideas for stories/movies/etc.
While reading up on it on BGG, I saw that there's an expansion for BSG: Pegasus. [link] The only thing that's tempting about this is the two plastic basestars.
BSG
Gee, so much excitement here for a viper jock I can barely contain myself. I will draw a yellow card, pack up my kit in sickbay, then move to the press room on Caprica One and draw two more yellow cards.
BSG
I discard a card randomly in order to go to Caprica One -- let me know which it is, High Lord God administrator.

You do not in fact discard randomly. The FAQ has clarified that Apollo's Headstrong ability applies only when he is forced to discard, say through a Crisis Card, and not when he chooses an action (moving between vessels) which necessitates a discard. It seems a fine distinction to me, but since there's a clear statement of the maker's intent, we'll run with it.
First, I'm sending you your new Yellow card. Then, you may post your discard.
Edit: The Captain's card draw has exhausted the Politics deck, so I'll reshuffle it before he works the Press Room.
BSG
I discard my 3P card.
