Sounds like a better plan than a debrig attempt.

Chief plays Bait and/or Switch! He draws 1 Green and 1 Blue, and Treachery is shuffled into the destiny deck. Cards are going out now.
But Treachery is a tricky thing to handle, and Chief Tyrol may have got involved with the wrong people. Before Chief can just walk away, they're demanding he supply them with contraband Tylium, or he'll be subjected to some vigorous debt restructuring! Chief's crisis card is:

As for the crisis. Ugg. I want to stay here, so I can double repair. But we need all the fuel we can get. We need distance 5 plus one jump. Typically each distance draws equal fuel. But we need to leave enough in the tank for that last jump. I'd say that last jump wants 2-3, which is right where our fuel is at.
