President's Choice
President Romo, when you're ready, please post your choice.
BSG (Romo)
I choose Option 2 since Option 1 doesn't give us any added benefit.
Oh, I forgot about missions! We should do one of those now before we get attacked again.
BSG
Fuel falls by 1, but the President's got his to the tune of two Quorum cards, so what does he care? As Romo's turn of duplicity comes to an end, the President still has 11 cards. He discards A Better Machine 3.
That concludes Romo's turn. Zarek's cards are going out. Citizen Zarek, when you're ready, please post your move and action.

B BSG(Tom before Kat)
Didn't one of those Crises have jump prep?
BSG(Tom on a Mission)
Does it seem like we're accumulating Jump prep faster than usual? Or have we just been lucky with Crises?(Knock wood).
Anyway, I will Discard TI-0 to move to the bridge of the Demetrius and Draw a Mission.
No whammies, no whammies!

Ooooh. Citizen Zarek is a man on a mission! That mission being:
Digging up the Past
Skill Check (14 YG)
Fleetsters, grab a shovel. Distance is on the line! Note that if this check passes, it will increase Distance to 4 and trigger the Sleeper Phase.
As with all mission checks, interrupts may not be played. The check begins!
Digging up the Past:
14 YG
Destiny:
2 cards
Kat:
Chief:
Romo:
Zarek:
Kat is up first.

Will it? It sounds like that only happens when we jump.
I can help a lot on this check, so let's do this.
BSG
Will it? It sounds like that only happens when we jump.
Yes, I thought so too; but page 15 of the rules states explicitly that the Distance is added immediately.
BSG
Administrative note: Destiny's play into this check has reduced the destiny deck to 6 cards. I've repleneished and reshuffled it. That in turn exhausted the Politics deck; I've reshuffled the discards.
