omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

BSG (Cally)

Sounds like option 2 is best bet.

Thrive to spite them

B BSG (Athena)

I'm going to go with option 2.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

BSG

Option 2 it is! There is a die roll to determine Athena's health. Everyone passes on interrupts:

Die roll: 5. Athena lands in Sickbay!

Finally, the jump track advances. That concludes Athena's turn, and she still holds 11 cards. She discards:

Dradis Contact 0

This discard means that she draws a mutiny card. Zarek may no longer be Admiral, but he still sanctions all mutinous activity in the fleet. Options are going out. Mutineer Zarek, when yoyu're ready, please let me know which card to give Athena.

Mutiny card sent. That concludes Athena's turn. Zarek's cards are going out. Citizen Zarek, when you're ready, please post your move and action.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

BSG (Zarek)

Aren't there civvies in Sector 4?

Unfortunately, I have no XO, but fortunately, we've managed to take out two Centurions, with one left. Will the Quorum authorize any more brutal force? I hope they bow to Popular Influence-4.

Popular Influence! Because it's good to try new things. Which Popular Influence is. Two Quorum cards have been sent. Mr Zarek, when you're ready, please advise which card you will give to the President, and whether you play or discard the other one.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

BSG (Baltar)

Ooh, fun! I've been wanting to see this card in action.

Ooh, fun! I've been wanting to see this card in action.

And you shall be rewarded for your interest! Zarek passes one card to Apollo, and then plays Assign Vice President on Gaius Baltar! Because that always ends well.

Zarek has been burning the candle at both ends in his rabble-rousing efforts. Time to pay the price. Zarek's crisis card is:

Sleep Deprivation
Admiral's Choice

Admiral Cally, when you're ready, please post your choice.

On closer examination, this is actually a pretty easy crisis, as option 1 (bench all vipers - none in play - and send Zarek to Sickbay - but he won't be there long) winds up having no effect. Here crew, have a shiny jump icon for free!

Well, not quite free. Because this is the turn of the Mutineer, and that jump icon means that he gets another mutiny card. That puts him at three cards, which earns him a trip into custody. Zarek lands in the Brig! Meanwhile, his choice of new mutiny is going out. Citizen Zarek, when you're ready, please advise me, first, which new mutiny card you choose; and second, which of your three mutiny cards you discard.
