My reasoning is that the SoE is giving me an action I otherwise would not have had; everything here is a bonus. If it were my actual turn, I would fire on the basestar.
The SoE is a crisis action, so we should get rid of the crisis. Unless you have some moral reasons for NOT shooting Cylons???
