I'm just about to head out to work and I don't want to make the wrong move. Can we destroy the basestar in Sector 2 since we know the prisoners are on board the one in Sector 1? If not, I should fire on Sector 3? I'll wait for input and decide when I get home.

You lose Morale and a raptor from destroying any basestar until your next jump.

So we have maxed out the Heavy Raiders, we can't use the Armoury until we jump or destroy a basestar, and if we destroy a basestar we lose Morale and raptor.
Well well well. I would not be against jumping early. Finessing damaging basestars without destroying them sounds tricky.

Weapons control? Go after that heavy before he boards. I think one more activation, and we got a bread warmer on board.
Command? Activate the guy in sector 3, so one raider doesn't advance to sector 4. If lucky, use the second activation to have him fire on the other one.

You're in Main Batteries, Romo. You can clear out the Raiders so we don't have to worry about the massive amount of civvies out there. That's why I XO'ed you and not Athena.

I'm assuming you mean Raiders and not Heavy Raiders so that means Sector 3.
I don't move and Open fire on Sector 3.

I do mean Raiders. Raiders threaten our civvies and are activated more frequently than Heavy Raiders. Also Main Batteries only hits Raiders.
