"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

BSG (Apollo)

Aargh. Ok. I didn't end up with an XO, so I can't get you or HotDog going, Zarek. But I do have some pilot power I can wield even from up here. Are we good with that course of action?

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

BSG (Cally)

We could always use more birds in the air. Or potshots at the enemy.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

BSG (Romo)

Agreed.

I'm angry our crisis card leaves no room for a rescue mission.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

BSG

I'm angry our crisis card leaves no room for a rescue mission.

Of course it does. If you all make it to the next jump without blowing up a basestar, there's no Morale or raptor loss. You've rescued them!

Getting on with things, Hot Dog's discards are:

Trust Instincts 0
Protect the Fleet 0
Bait 0

The B-0 discard means that Hot Dog joins the mutiny club, because: #YOLO. Options have gone to the mutineer in chief, Zarek. Admiral Zarek, when you're ready, please let me know which card to give Hot Dog.

I have COs from Apollo too:

Move to the President's Office
Play Launch Reserves 5.

Apollo uses this card to launch two RSVs into Sector 4, with Hot Dog, and then move one to Sector 3. Coverage!

I'll just pause for a moment now, until Zarek makes the choice on the mutiny card. Then we'll go on to Apollo's crisis card.

Zarek has chosen, and the mutiny card has gone out to Hot Dog. But what about that can-do President, eh? He should get an award or something. Apollo's crisis card is:

Medal of Distinction
Admiral's Choice

Admiral Zarek, when you're ready, please post your choice.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

BSG (Baltar)

Yay for the Jump Icon, I guess.

I don't know, maybe we could handle Option 1? No backseat Admiralling from me on this one. Not until i have that 20/20/ hindsight on my side, anyway.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

BSG (Zarek)

Getting that Morale would be pretty nice. If I put the ships in Sector 4, they would be covered. Thanks to Apollo's maneuvering, the Raiders would begin to converge, but each duo would have to get past a single RSV, and then we have a couple Vipers to protect the 4 civvies.

It would be tough, but doable, especially if we can get someone in Command to launch more Vipers. And isn't Hot Dog in an Assault Raptor? That's even more protection.

And isn't Hot Dog in an Assault Raptor?

Hot Dog is in an assault raptor. Something I neglected to mention before, on this turn Apollo opted for 2 Green for his variable draw.

I don't know. We are still a long way from jumping. But I am also available to make pew pew pew noises.

I like your plan, Zarek. Go for option 1. It will be nice to boost a resource. We just need to work as a team, get command hot, and weapons firing, and shoot some of those birds out of the air.
