Zarek has chosen, and the mutiny card has gone out to Hot Dog. But what about that can-do President, eh? He should get an award or something. Apollo's crisis card is:
Medal of Distinction
Admiral's Choice
Admiral Zarek, when you're ready, please post your choice.
BSG (Baltar)
Yay for the Jump Icon, I guess.
I don't know, maybe we could handle Option 1? No backseat Admiralling from me on this one. Not until i have that 20/20/ hindsight on my side, anyway.
BSG (Zarek)
Getting that Morale would be pretty nice. If I put the ships in Sector 4, they would be covered. Thanks to Apollo's maneuvering, the Raiders would begin to converge, but each duo would have to get past a single RSV, and then we have a couple Vipers to protect the 4 civvies.
It would be tough, but doable, especially if we can get someone in Command to launch more Vipers. And isn't Hot Dog in an Assault Raptor? That's even more protection.
BSG
And isn't Hot Dog in an Assault Raptor?
Hot Dog is in an assault raptor. Something I neglected to mention before, on this turn Apollo opted for 2 Green for his variable draw.
BSG (Romo)
I don't know. We are still a long way from jumping. But I am also available to make pew pew pew noises.
BSG (Cally)
I like your plan, Zarek. Go for option 1. It will be nice to boost a resource. We just need to work as a team, get command hot, and weapons firing, and shoot some of those birds out of the air.
BSG (Zarek)
I choose
Option 1
and place the civvies in Sector 4.
Let's do this, folks!
BSG
Doing this shall commence! Morale is up up up to the princely total of 7. That's three more than the number of civvies in Sector 4. Then the raiders activate. Raiders from Sector 2 move to Sector 3. The raiders in Sector 6, however, have a target! They fire at the RSV:
Raider 1: 8. Viper destroyed!
I have no COs for anyone to play an EM. The second raider move to Sector 5.
Next we have the card's regular activation, which is the basestar.
Die roll: 2. Miss.
A little something there for everyone, I think. Finally, the jump track advances. That concludes Apollo's turn. Athena has opted to draw 1 Green, 1 Red and 1 Blue. Athena, when you're ready, please post your move and action.
