Ok! d8 at the ready!
Attack 1:
Off the table. Wait a moment. ...3. Miss.
Attack 2:
6. Miss.
Attack 3:
6. Miss. Ok, if you shoot that spot and it doesn't blow up, shooting it again won't help.
Attack 4:
8! Hit!
t Gypsy Kings start playing "Boombaleo"
Damage token:
Critical Hit (2 Damage)
Total Basestar damage = 3; Basestar destroyed. Crisis card to follow.
Holy crap, Boomer hit something.

Crisis card:
Send Survey Team (current player's choice)
Boomer, when you're ready please post your choice.
Holy crap, Boomer hit something.
Given one of the possible outcomes of this Crisis card is "destroy a raptor and send the current player to Sickbay" I'm curious as to just how she did it too.
Wait, Basestar
destroyed?!
groovy.
Total Basestar damage = 3; Basestar destroyed.
SCCCCCOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooOOOoooOOOoooooRRRREEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(maybe I've been watching too much soccer on TV)
Take that you frakkin' Toaster!!!
OK, gotta go back to living room to figure out what the hell that card is all about.
I can help with a skill check a little.
BSG
OK, this is a
15!!
Purple, Red, Blue. That seems like a LOT! There is a raider icon, and a jump icon. But with the basestar destroyed (thank you very much), no raiders can be activated, it's just the 3 in sector 4 with Apollo, right?
The card has an
OR
That says to the effect you loose 1 gas if you roll 5 or under
Seems to me we should do the
or
part, and roll for a loss of fuel. I think trying to get 15 points will be a bit much.
Procedure questions: So? If we do the OR thing, that's just fuel lost, and no sick bay/ destroyed raptor thing, right? And what is the significance of "Sickbay". The only thing I found in the book said:
Players may move out of “Sickbay” without difficulty, but not the “Brig.” They may only move out of the “Brig” by
passing the skill check listed on the location.
The board just says I can only draw one card, instead of my normal 5, but is movement out as simple as my movement for the next roll is to go to ___ location?
Please advise. I look forward to hearing peoples thoughts on this.
eta
to remove quote of card, as requested. Sorry about that.
O_A, could you take out the card text? It's copyrighted, and I understand the game's creator doesn't want it being posted publicly.
BSG
The significance of Sickbay is primarily that if you're still there at the start of your turn, you only get to draw 1 Skill Card. You may move to any other location (except the Brig) freely.
