You've got to be kidding me.

Orders from Hoshi:
Move to the Cylon Fleet and activate the basestar.
Galactica is under fire! If he hits the Fuel token, the game is over!
Die roll: 8. Hit!
And the damage token is...
Lose 1 Food!
Wrong resource, Hoshi! Food drops to 2.
That concludes Hoshi's turn. Cain has a variable card draw of 1 G/P. Admiral Cain, when you're ready, please advise which colour you would like for your variable draw.

If he hits the Fuel token, the game is over!
That's what I was hoping for. Alas, my aim was off. At least it was a hit! Even better that it was a resource token!

Cain has opted for Purple for his variable draw. Admiral Cain, when you're ready, please post your move and action.

Okay, Team Human, we're making our final stand here, and I propose two options, either of which I can plan for, strategically:
1. Nuke Sector 6, which has the possibility of destroying EVERYTHING but will at least destroy the basestar and keep it from firing on us and spitting out Raiders.
2. XO Leoben to fire on the Raiders, which has the possibility of destroying all Raiders and has a high likelihood of of destroying all but 1, but then the basestar will just make more.
If I get a Raider activation the Raiders move to Civvie C, and Helo activates Raiders, and if it's a Fuel ship, we're dead. This will happen even if there's only one Raider left. Or two.
I'm leaning toward the nuke if only to go out with glory, but Main Batteries is a safer option, especially if someone else could help us plan.
(I may be wrong about this, though. I'm running the numbers and the nuke may actually a higher [or equal] probability of clearing the sector of Raiders.)
If I get a Raider activation the Raiders move to Civvie C, and Helo activates Raiders, and if it's a Fuel ship, we're dead.
The Fuel ship was lost during the Blind Jump. That's why Fuel's at 1 in the first place. The remaining ships are:
1 Population
2 Population
1 Population, 1 Morale
They are all on the board at this moment (in random order, of course).
BSG (Cain)
Oh! Well, then we have some wiggle room! Now I'm definitely leaning toward the nuke. We can spend the rest of the game moving civvies away from Raiders if we have to.
Yeah, as long as there's no basestar creating more Raiders, we can keep using Comms. Although we do run into the Leoben problem, if he doesn't have an XO. Although depending on how things shake out, Main Batteries may be able to clear the rest of the Raiders we have left.
BSG (Cottle)
Sounds like a good plan to me.
