We have an Investigative Committee on the check. "Set a Trap" has become "Acceptable Parameters for Deployment of Dedicated Structures for Immobilisation and Containment of Electroconductive Humanoid Nonpersonnel"! Everyone else passes on interrupts. The check begins! And almost ends.
Set a Trap:
10 GP
Destiny:
2 cards
Hoshi:
0 cards
Starbuck:
At Any Cost 5
Roslin:
At Any Cost 4
Cottle:
Running tally: 9 + Destiny.
Cottle is last to play.

A big play there from the good doctor. Current tally is 15, five points over the pass level. Is that enough to cover Destiny? It adds:
Special Destiny 2
Sabotage 3
Treachery ahoy!
Tally: 15 - 5 = 10. Exact pass!
Jean-Ralphio falls victim to the deviousness of others, as is so often the case. Incidentally, either of those AACs would have added more to this check as an interrupt. Not that you needed it.
Next, the raiders return fire on Starbuck:
Raider 1: 8. Viper destroyed!
I neglected to get EM COs, so I'll ask now: Starbuck, do you play an EM to save your viper, or pass?
BSG
I've heard from Starbuck;
she plays an Evasive Manoeuvre 2.
Let's reroll:
Raider 1a: 5 - 2 = 3. Miss.
Raider 2: 5. Viper damaged!
But Starbuck has a second Evasive Manoeuvre 2, which now sees the light of day:
Raider 2a: 2 - 2 = 0. Miss.
Some inspired moves there from the fleet's ace pilot.
That concludes Cottle's turn. Adama's cards are going out. Admiral Adama, when you're ready, please post your move and action.

Well, Starbuck, you may not be able to hit the broad side of a Raider, but you've got moves!
BSG (Doc)
All right! Jean-Ralphio is toast, Starbuck is still flying, and Bill's about to get some skills. Score one for the good guys.
She's like that annoying kid in dodge ball who can't catch or throw the ball but is impossible to hit.

Seems I've got the "float like a butterfly" part down. Now I need to work on the "sting like a bee" part.

I like your attitude, Doc! Let's channel that energy, and start swinging things around for the Humans!
Now. Let's work on getting those bogeys in Sector One off the map!
BSG (Adama)
Unfortunately I did not draw an xo. I could launch a nuke but there's that small chance of nuking Starbuck. I could move to command but maybe we want to keep the vipers where they are if there are more civvies placed on the board. I could launch a scout.
Opinions?
