Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Non-BSG

Kalshane, you know "Nintendo Hard" became a cliche for a reason, right?

Oh, I know. The original Castlevania remains one of the hardest games I've actually beaten (the Grim Reaper is probably a tougher fight than Dracula in that game).

I think I'm getting a first-hand lesson in that modern games aren't actually any shorter than the ones we played as a kid, they're just a lot more forgiving. The length of the old games came from having to replay hours 1-5 over and over again when you keep getting killed in hour 6.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

BSG

Everyone passes on interrupts.

Die roll: 3 + 2 = 5. One hit! It suffers a Disabled Hangar, not that this matters much because with three hits against it, the basestar is destroyed!

You blew up my basestar! Of course, veterans of these games know what that means. Replacement! Helo's crisis card is:

Besieged
Cylon Attack

Destroying the basestar has an immediate effect. This attack card starts with a raier activation. With no raiders on the board, two launch from each basestar. Alas, we won't get two in Sector 1, just in Sector 2.

Next, we add more ships! There they go. Of particular note is Sector 6, which now has two civvies, three vipers and four raiders. This is important because the special rule on this attack card is: these four raiders activate immediately, and fire at the vipers:

Raider 1: 4. Miss.
Raider 2: 2. Miss.
Raider 3: 4. Miss.
Raider 4: 7. Viper damaged!

Time for interrupts. Helo, do you want to use your reroll? I will also ask Helo and Starbuck for COs for using EMs.

Helo uses his reroll:

Raider 4a: 7. Viper damaged (still)!

Ok, on to EMs. Helo and Starbuck, please put in COs.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

BSG (Gaeta)

MY HOMIES! I wish you had better aim, but welcome to the frakking party.

I think you may be a little confused as to the type of party we're running here.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Helo plays an EM-2, actually.

Raider 4b: 1. Miss.

That concludes Helo's turn. Gaeta starts his turn on the Resurrrection Ship and may draw only one card. GAETRON, when you're ready, please post your choice of colour.

Card sent. The basestars open up:

Basestar 1: 6. Hit!
Basestar 2: 2. Miss.

Ok, that's a slight improvement. Damage: Engine Room.

That concludes Gaeta's turn. There'll be a delay before I get Starbuck's cards out.
