Admiral Softie agrees to the rescue! Fuel falls by 1 and one raptor is destroyed.
Next, the basestars activate (again).
Basestar 1: 2. Miss.
Basestar 2: 4. Hit!
Gaeta, as current player it's your choice. Did it hit Galactica or Pegasus?
BSG (Gaeta)
Oh, gods, Pegasus is halfway gone already, and I'm the only one who could potentially be sent to Sickbay, so let's spread the damage around to Galactica.
BSG
Galactica takes her first hit! And it is... Weapons Control. Well, of course it is. Gaeta lands in Sickbay after all! (Incidentally, a note on NPCs: If Hot Dog were still in Weapons Control, this hit would remove him and a replacement NPC would be drawn.)
Finally, the jump track advances into the Blue. hat concludes Gaeta's turn. Starbuck has opted to draw 1 Green for her variable draw. Starbuck, when you're ready, please post your move and action.

BSG (Helo)
Ugh.
BSG (President)
Oh dear. This is not good. We have lost the ability to knock off that damaged basestar! I think repair of main batteries would be better, it's use could impact a whole sector, and help pull Pegasus from the brink. Thankfully FTL isn't hit, and we are in the blue with the jump track. BT, what is the possible penalty for jumping now?
BSG
BT, what is the possible penalty for jumping now?
A failed die roll at the moment would cost 3 Population.
BSG (President)
3 population? Yikes. That's. Ouch. That's heavy. I'm not sure which is worse, that or the mess we are in.
BSG (Gaeta)
Galactica takes her first hit! And it is... Weapons Control. Well, of course it is. Gaeta lands in Sickbay after all!
Oh, for frak's sake.
We have lost the ability to knock off that damaged basestar!
No, we haven't. We still have CIC.
I'm not sure which is worse, that or the mess we are in.
Well, right now the basestars are killing us. We don't actually have Population threatened because Raiders haven't been activating, but they will. I can re-roll FTL. I think we can wait for one more—
Well, it depends on whether Starbuck can defend the civvies in Sector 4. Because we could potentially lose three civvies on a Raider activation there. Unless she can take them out or run interference. If she can hold them off for one more jump icon, I'd say risk 1 Pop to jump early.
