I may be late, but I will I'll be on time.
However, due to all kinds of work shenanigans today, I'll be limiting myself to 2 hours probably.
Would you like to start an hour later? That probably be useful for me.

10:30 central is fine for me. Anyone else joining?
It doesn't look that way.
We'll run through a few more things and then head into an actual game.
I also put out a call on LJ and I'm going to give a few more people the TF2 101 in June.
I haven't had a chance to even pick up the game yet.
I was wondering, would anyone here be interested in joining in a PBEM game of the Battlestar Galactica boardgame? If so, I reckon I'd be able to run one. I'd like to run it on this thread if everyone's agreeable.
No big deal, ND. We'll be trying it again in June.
I'd be down for it, BT. Would the game end up taking over the thread if you ran it here?

Well, that's the question. It's likely to increase the volume a fair bit. The existing discussion here tends to be a few posts of back 'n' forth at a time, though, which may be able to coexist pretty well. I think BSG makes for good spectator sport too.
Nonetheless, if there are thread participants who don't want in on a game, and don't want to have to deal with its addition to this thread, I think we could manage by email. A forum such as this is ideal, but not necessary. Or, if people are willing to give it a shot here, we can see how it goes and move it to email if it becomes a problem.
On other matters, do you either own or have access to a copy of the game? The reason I ask, I know the makers aren't willing to have game text posted publicly. I can post some things, certainly enough to identify crisis cards drawn, but not others (such as the pass/fail outcomes on the crisi card). If you have a copy of the game, that'll go smoother. (I'm pretty sure I can email players privately with more info where needed, so it's not a dealbreaker.)
tonight just wasn't my night. First Pete gleefully kicked my ass in OrangeBox (not unexpected, but I did give a run for the money on a few maps). Then NoiseDesign finished me off in the Texan map of Risk. And lastly, all of my Brutes got their heads handed to them. :: sigh :: at least I had fun.

For those of you wondering at home, ND, o_a and I played three games. I won one, ND won one, and o_a won one. Very amusing. We'll see how that record keeps over time.
