Everyone passes on interrupts:
Die roll: 8. Pass!
The news that Roslin has been making goo-goo eyes at Adama has set the hearts of the fleet a-flutter. They knew that Galactica was crying out for a BEAUTIFUL LOVE STORY, they just didn't know who it should be. The Chief's crisis card is:
Unidentified Ship
Skill Check (10 PR)
Possible interrupts: IC, SR, Reckless. Everyone, please pass or play.
BSG (Roslin)
I pass, and can't help, obviously.
BSG (Chief)
I can't help at all on this check, but let me convene an
IC-3
to keep possibly Cylon Apollo from pulling any shenanigans.
I'm not sure what to say about Adama. That early jump still seems shady. But if Roslin trusts him...
BSG
Everyone else passes on interrupts. The check begins.
Unidentified Ship:
10 PR
Destiny:
2 cards
Apollo:
Cally:
Roslin:
(COs received)
Adama:
Chief:
(COs received)
Apollo is up first.
BSG (Apollo)
No need to worry about me, Chief. I couldn't shenaniganize this check if I wanted to, and I don't, still being human and all. Roslin's looking a little squirrely herself, if you ask me - OPG so early and moving both those civvies into harm's way? Harrumph.
Anyway, crisis. I play
PF-0, EM-1, EM-2
BSG (Chief)
OPG so early and moving both those civvies into harm's way?
Hey, wait, you're right! Why would she move them AWAY from protection? Unless they're both decoys, but that seems unlikely. If she's squirrely, then it's possible Adama's squirrely too, which we already thought. Curiouser and curiouser. Now I'm not sure what to think.
BSG (Roslin)
I moved one away from protection, and one
toward
protection, I just couldn't get it all the way there.
BSG (Apollo)
Oh, you ran out of cards so no more activating Comms, right? Pesky weakness.
BSG (Roslin)
Right, exactly, and it took tossing some potentially super helpful cards to get even that done. That weakness really is debilitating sometimes.
But I did the best I could, and now we have the info about the Admiral (so yeah, sorry for grabbing the Presidency back from you that time, sir, seems like the kiddo's doing ok with it, though.)
BSG (Apollo)
Well, the raiders won't fire immediately, right, just jump in? So I might be able to heroically rescue everybody (you are suggesting we go ahead and leave Civvie C to their fate, Laura, yes?) on my turn.
