I hate Apples to Apples. Subjective games and me are definitely non-mixy things.
So much this. Even with the right group. It's just never that funny, and it's not a game.

t loves on Raq
I love Apples to Apples. Nyah.
OK. World of Goo may be the awesomest game ever.
Heh. It can be really damn hard, though.
I'm only playing the demo right now (altho I have decided to buy it) and while several puzzles are tricky I haven't "impossible" yet. It definitely has "just one more time" juju.
And Mal's playing it so he can learn to mouse, and loving it, and it doesn't involve killing stuff as they way to solve problems, so that's good too.
OK. I just finished the demo of World of Goo and installed the full version.
I am slightly appalled at how long it took me to figure out the last puzzle in the demo (the one where you have to work your way out of some strange creature's digestive tract). Even with all the hints! Clever.
Orange Box sure gets addicting quick. Just a lil more and I'll stop. The next time an auto save happens. Ooh, the next check point. The next time humans are in the picture. The next time.... ya, and then it's 3:30 in the morning. DOH!
By Orange Box, you mean Half Life 2, right?
I encourage you to try Team Fortress 2. But spend some time watching the director's commentaries first as they will go a long way towards explaining the game and with 9 player classes, you'll need it.
That makes the game sound complicated, it's not. It just has a lot of variety.
Ya, HL2.
So whats the diff between HL2, and the ch 1 and ch 2 things in there? I'm assuming it's best to do them in order.
Is there enough folks to have a friendly fraggin' in TF2? Nothing worse than a room of 12 year olds kicking my ass and rubbing my nose in it. Not like you don't do that, but somehow it's different.
