You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

BSG

Administrative note: Destiny's play into this skill check reduced it to 6 cards. I've replenished and reshuffled it.

I now have everyone's play:

Unexpected Reunion: 8 YGP

Destiny: 2 cards
Cally: 1 card
Gaeta: 0 cards
Boomer: 1 card
Six: 1 card
Anders: 3 cards
Tory: 6 cards

Cards played:

Support the People 1
Consolidate Power 1
Consolidate Power 1
Consolidate Power 1
Consolidate Power 1
Consolidate Power 2
Executive Order 2
Executive Order 2
At Any Cost 3
Declare Emergency 5
Launch Scout 1
Launch Scout 2
Launch Scout 2
Broadcast Location 1

Tally: 24 - 1 = 23. So, that happened. And now this happens: the raiders activate! As current player, Tory determines the order of activation. She activates sectors 2, 3 and 6, in that order.

Sector 2: Civilian ship E is destroyed, for a loss of 2 Population! Two raiders move to Sector 3.
Sector 3: Civilian ship F is destroyed, for a loss of... 2 Population! One raider follows its dreams to Sector 4.
Sector 6: a lone raider fires upon the CAG!

Raider 1: 6. Hit! (Mk VIIs are hit on a 6 or higher.) But Boomer comes to his rescue with an EM-1.
Raider 1a: 3 - 2 = 1. Miss.

That concludes Tory's turn. Cally has opted to draw 1 Red and 1 Treachery for her draw. Callandroid, when you're ready, please post your move and action.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

BSG (Anders)

aw Boomer, you do care.

Polter-Cow - Jul 26, 2012 3:35:54 pm PDT #16924 of 26134
What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

BSG (Boomer)

I only care about the civvies.

Tory, however, clearly cares about not losing her entire hand, so she just played half of it. I could have frickin' gotten out of the brig on those cards! *shakes fist of overplaying*

Wow, I can't believe we lost both 2 Pop in one go. Our resources are completely in the shitter. Anders, just reveal already and crush us all.

If those cards had been played into a Brig check, the tally would have been -1.

Anders, just reveal already and crush us all.

Do I understand you to be advocating an XO to Anders?

Well, OBVIOUSLY I MEANT NOT INCLUDING THE NEGATIVE CARDS.

Do I understand you to be advocating an XO to Anders?

Cally can't XO Anders, as much as she'd want to.

Does Destiny know that?

Gaeta can. I did assume you meant the earliest possible opportunity, I'm not trying to cause mischief here.

Meanwhile! I have orders from Cally. They are:

Move: Basestar Bridge. KHAAAAAAAAN!

Action: Roll a die to damage Galactica; then roll a die to move the jump or pursuit track.

Either of these die rolls may be affected by an SP (makes missing/pursuit track more likely respectively). Everyone, please pass or play. You can also send me COs for Calcs.

Board correction: in the last two end-of-turn summaries, I hadn't included the effect of the jump icon on Anders' crisis card. The jump track is at 2 (Red). I've updated the summaries.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I have no idea if Boomer is a toaster or not (and wouldn't say anything being in the peanut gallery anyway) but it seems like whatever decision is made about Boomer is the wrong one. I'm sure BT will immediately correct me, but it seems like every time Boomer gets sprung prior to the last Cylon being revealed, she's a toaster, and every time she's left to rot she ends up being human.
