My first instinct is to work Comms, but it's best for me to be in the sky, so here's how it goes:
I remain in Hangar Deck and launch in an MKVII into Sector 5. With my bonus action, I CAG an MKVII into Sector 5 and escort Civvie C home.

Oof. Option 2 isn't great. Most of us have gotten rid of the Treachery from the last draw, though, so maybe Option 1 isn't too bad? It would be bad if we hit a really bad ship.
