What would be more likely (slightly) would be a choice between a 0-distance and a 3-Fuel. Which wouldn't be instant death, but our Resources probably couldn't take another jump cycle.
If you pull the Misjump, you draw a civvie and destroy it, then immediately draw a replacement destination and travel that distance. There's no way for you not to reach New Caprica on your next jump. (Well, technically one way - if you draw and pass Legendary Discovery, you'll reach NC
before
your next jump.)
BSG
There's no way for you not to reach New Caprica on your next jump.
But if we only have 3 Fuel, it's possible for us to lose as soon as we get there.
Nevertheless, I recommend AGAINST the Morale loss. We know for certain it's going to take hits on New Caprica, and we need Population.
BSG (President)
You are confusing me. You are saying, "don't burn fuel, we will need it" and then "don't kill morale, either". Dude. It's one or the other. I'm going with the one with the least resources impacted. I go with Option 2.
BSG
If that's a firm decision, could you put it in bold? Ta ever so.
BSG
I'm going with the one with the least resources impacted. I go with Option 2.

There it is, children, President Killjoy has cancelled CAG Christmas. Morale falls to 3.
We round out the turn with the raiders and jump track advancing. That concludes Apollo's turn. As Kat is on the Resurrection Ship, she draws only one card. She has chosen Piloting, and left COs. I'll post the turn summary first.

That's why I put AGAINST in caps. Never mind, we may yet be glad you did that.
So I will
Play CS-4
For my first action I
Fire on the Basestar,
pass on interrupts.
For my second I
LS-1 the Crisis deck,
also pass on interrupts.
