I would like to break the Pradmiralship up mainly because I'm just not comfortable putting that much power into one set of hands. With that much control in the hands of a Cylon it would make sense to play it favorably for quite a few rounds, even help the humans, so that when it really counts you can pull the rug completely out from under them.
The Pradmiralship is split up. Dee is Admiral. So, leave Tigh as President. I hear you, there is notion that someone could do good to cover tracks. But my gut is saying Tigh is simply doing good for good sake.

OK, suppose Baltar is human and we execute him. Then we'd know he's human and presumably telling the truth about Dee being toastery. And lose Morale, which we can ill afford. And Dee's turn is next, so, not much we could do about that immediately, but she wouldn't be able to play a long game of laying low.
If Baltar is a cylon and we execute him, then yay.
If Roslin is human and we give her back the Presidency, we might be able to get more Quorum cards pretty soon.
I know I'm human, but I don't think I can be an effective President while piloting a viper surrounded by enemy ships (gotta wonder why you didn't take the opportunity of shooting at something just now, Baltar).
Tigh and Baltar discarding seems relatively safe, but doesn't gain us any new information.
In conclusion, these are not so much experiments as a summation of our options as I see them. You were right not to grant me tenure. I'm much better at shooting raiders.

One could say, you are superb at it! That first round was glorious! And the last round, was fab, even had an extra round in the chamber that ya didn't need.

I hate to execute Baltar just because he's a poor public speaker. What am I saying, I would love to execute Baltar! I'm also comfortable with giving Roslin back the presidency. This would be so much easier if I knew who the cylon(s) were.

It's Baltar, and I think he changed at Sleeper phase. He had no problem announcing Starbuck's humanity when he checked her pre-Sleeper, and suddenly he's all conflicted about giving a straight answer (ANY answer) now? Whatever.

I hate to pass up an opportunity for a speedy execution only to have Baltar screw us over later.
And if it turns out we airlocked a human, we'll know Dee is our cylon.

I still kind of want Baltar to directly accuse me of being a Cylon so I can be entirely sure he's not just crazy and playing mindgames with Team Human.

An execution is pretty serious. I don't mind waiting for the rest of the crew to weigh in and Baltar to appeal.

Exactly. I'm still not 100% clear he's accusing me, and I want to be before we shove him out the airlock. Obviously, even if he says I'm human, that doesn't entirely clear him, but humans don't accuse each other of being Cylons. There's no good reason.
Also, his reasons for checking me were really weird and left out the part where he
should
have been checking me because I'm the Admiral now (no worries, Admiral is still human, assuming Tigh is, and I have no reason to believe he isn't). But that could be part of his poor public speaking ability, and the fact that basically every game I am accused of being a Cylon because I always have suggestions for what people should do.
