I don't suppose two basestars in one sector could be destroyed by a single nuke. Or could they?
Under the standard rules, no. However, we are using the variant nukes from the Cylong Fleet module in the Exodus expansion. These nukes destroy everything in the sector (friend or foe) on a roll of 8+. Thereis therefore a chance that you could destroy both basestars with one nuke.
Meanwhile, a new basestar appears in Sector 1. Both basestars immediately fire on the fleet:

As much as I'd love to leave sickbay, given that there are two of us here, if my bunk mate has cards that can do something helpful, I'd say heal her. Sad to say I can only activate a room. Since we have a major room damaged on Big G, I think we should try and repair that. Maybe someone to Pegasus, to fix CIC, and activate it.

Dee makes a good point. Even if I destroy two basestars, those raiders will all go after Starbuck (and then those civvies if Starbuck's luck isn't great) on the next activation.

True, but with 2 basestars activated, we will take damage real quick. Look at Pegasus. She's one ding from doom. Either way, we are Fraked!!

It'll take one Raider activation for them to get to us, and I can hold them off for one more after that, no problem, maybe two if I'm lucky. So take that into account in your figuring.
I kinda like the let's nuke two basestars at once plan because if it works that would be glorious. Who doesn't like fireworks?
