You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Cards sent. Is Adama's crisis press-related? ...No, not really. It's:

Power Failure
Skill Check (14 GPB)

Possible interrupts: IC, Reckless. Everyone, please pass or play. You can also send me COs for the check itself.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

BSG (President of Yellow)

I can help with the check and (are you surprised?) I am ready to convene an investigative committee regarding this power failure should we decide that it is prudent to do so.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

BSG (Ellen)

Can we actually lose jump prep? If the fail is irrelevant, we should tank, obvs. I can help with this check, especially since it's an Adama check. All 1s are positive!

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

BSG (Gaeta)

Does the consequence trigger regardless, or only if we fail, or what? Oh, nevermind, it's the 0's or reckless thing. Reading comprehension, it's not just for dinner anymore.

I can help, and the IC would be good.

You can lose jump prep, as the track is currently on 1 (Red). You'd gained a jump icon on Mandatory Testing.

That is correct about this being Adama's crisis. All skill cards of value 1 count positive regardless of colour.

Correct. Note too, the consequence triggers if any such cards are played, not if they actually have an effect. That means that Treachery cards with a skill check effect will trigger the consequence, even if the check is not Reckless. (I think I may have played that one wrong in a previous game.)

Edit: and my iPhone just started playing the Robert Cray Band's "Consequences", just to emphasise the point.

Hmmm. Felix, I can double whatever Blue you put in, if we're willing to accept some damage.

No, I don't think that's worth it, given my hand.

Let the investigation begin! I Play an IC-3

Balls. Never mind then. I can still help a little, though. If we go all out, however, and take the damage, it could end up being worth it? Only if double-blue is great, which it doesn't seem to be. Dammit, stupid consequences.

Of course, if Destiny triggers the consequence, I guess we can do whatever the hell we want. Tory, your committee includes seers, right?
