You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I like how rogues have more power to do damage in 4e.

Editing question for Star Wars geeks:

The white helmets and plastic armor help to distinguish the Storm Troopers from the Jedi knights in Star Wars (1977).

Is Storm Trooper one or two words? What should be capitalized there and in Jedi knight?

Thanks.

Megan, here's LucasArts' list of press releases. They use both Jedi Master and Jedi General, so I'd definitely say Jedi Knight.

I believe stormtrooper is one word, but I've got nothing to back that up with at the moment.

Wookiepedia agrees about Jedi Knight, and says that Stormtrooper is one word.

From Lucasfilm and starwars.com it seems to be Jedi Knight and stormtrooper. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Also, in the category of "more than I needed to know about stormtrooper armor", I present the following:

"The soldiers of the Empire struck with frightening anonymity, their faces completely obscured by unmistakable white armor. While the 18-piece armored shell offers limited protection from blaster fire, it also serves as a weapon of terror.
The bone-white armor fits over a black temperature-control body glove. Built-in helmet comlinks supplemented by belt-mounted hand-held units ensure that stormtroopers are always in touch with their superiors. Standardized utility belts offer ammunition for blaster sidearms, and helpful tools such as grappling hooks and cable. Stormtrooper armor also serves as a limited space suit for protection against hard vacuum."

While the 18-piece armored shell offers limited protection from blaster fire,

You know all the stormtroopers are thinking, "Sure, they'll spend money to build a planet sized space station, but they won't buy us decent armor"

move out and draw fire

just got this email:

Oh yes, for those of you who haven't played it, they made a game out of the first book in the Game of Thrones series. It's a little magic-ish but the turns take much longer and you spend 5 minutes trying to remember where the characters were when you first met them (Winterfell) and where they are now (dead). Then you try and talk about them to the other players who haven't read the books yet. A friend of mine picked it up at GenCon where he also got a card game entitiled "We didn't play test this at all" where no single game we've played yet has lasted more than 2 minutes, and about half of them were over before I got a chance to play. Great fun. These two games combined created the idea for another game where you are a house, a telepathic house that has the ability to influence the actions of the city in direct proportion to your market value. After a certain point yuo can choose to continue on as a house, or diversify into an condo or into a neighborhood of houses. We developed attack systems (crack dealers, termites) and defense systems (gated community, maintainence staff) but I can't seem to come up with a victory condition.
