Okay, I'm back and have my emails. Now I just need to remember what our current crisis was.

Welcome back! Er, it's your turn, and we have Scar on our asses. Suggestions have included XOing me to shoot at him or jumping early. Or you can reveal you're a Cylon or whatever. What, I've forgotten who I suspect and who I trust at this point.
BSG
Apollo said with an XO he could maybe give Scar some grief. No promise of MF.
I forgot where I left my notes so I'm not sure how effective an XO to me would be at this point.
edit: hey found my notes. I, too am more useful for defense at this point.

Sorry mine's not at well formatted as da boss. I could take an XO to launch more vipers and/or activate the one on the board.
Without an XO jumping us early sounds good, or firing on Scar yourself.
BSG
I am in weapons, so an XO to me would be two shots at Scar. Launching vipers will take some time to get them around G and into place. Communications could move the RSV around a bit. Or an XO on Apollo, since he is in the same sector.
BSG
I can also scout the crisis (or destination) deck.

May I suggest holding off on jumping until I can assign a Mission Specialist?
speaking of Monopoly. The iPad version is on sale right now. $3.99. Dunno how good it is (yet). Looks like a bunch of the EA iOS games are on sale for "back to school".
update: OK, so I downloaded it and played a 3 person game in less than 45 minutes. Can't do that in real life! It's not bad. Granted, I only played one game on easy (and won!). There are cute animations for the piece movement (that can be annoying in time, I suppose), but you can hit the button to skip ahead, or just turn them off all together. There is a table top version for multi-player games, all human, or mixed human/AI. You put the game in between four of you, and it is the game. No need to pass n play, as there is nothing hidden in Monopoly. And the action rotates for each player, so the iPad stays put. Pretty cool, if you ask me. Sure, it drains the battery, compared to the regular board top version. But hey, those family vacations, try packing Monopoly in the luggage! On the whole, I give it thumbs up.
(For the record, I have no affiliation with Hasbro or EA Games. I just like to play games)
