The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I'm seriously contemplating it, Barb.

Because books.

Is it cheating if you already have something started? Maybe I could finish the zombie book ...

“Not dead yet!”

I don't think it's cheating at all. I mean, yeah, the idea is that you write a novel from scratch, but phooey to that, I say.

When I did it in '04, I already had like 20K on LUCKY THIRTEEN and added another 65K during NaNo. So I neither started nor finished it, but I did do a big, horkin' chunk of it and met the 50K goal, so I considered myself a winner.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

The hush drabble is now closed.

The new prompt is machinery.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Oh, no, is it NaNo time again? I usually try, but fail pretty miserably. Only this year, I won't be traveling for the holiday, so maybe...

Glutton for punishment.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I am going to go completely insane waiting for Agent Kate to come back with a verdict on whether Sam is saleable.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

is it NaNo time again?

I need more time to decide! I've tried twice and never finished.

Always Anti-fascist!

OK, when did they stop giving kids a hard time about being left-handed? Although my character in question is well over 60...he probably fits right in to that demo, right? Laga, cheer up...maybe it's like other things and doesn't get good till the third time. (/Everything I know I Learned From Detective Munch)

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I am 52 and in Milwaukee Elementary schools they gave me a hard time. Even tried to get me to sit on my left hand so I would use my right. However, that only lasted until 3rd grade and even then it was only the older teachers who cared.
