Always Anti-fascist!

I will, but I think there was a misunderstanding...someone ran an ADA post in the slot I thought was mine,

My pal Natalie Luhrs has some things to say about book reviews - thought I'd boost the signal: [link] (xposty with lit.)

Coding and Sleeping

I'm getting pounded with work which is keeping me from making much progress writing or beta reading currently. OTOH I think I've thought of the first sentence for Cog and the Copper Dragon (I've got the first two chapters written save for the opening since I realized I needed a little scene there). "The banshee wail ripped through Cog's slumber like a hot locomotive through butter."

Being a rough draft, there is little likelihood it will remain the first sentence, but maybe I can get that rough first chapter put away now.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Hi all. I've got a preview of my witch short story, "Baby Detonate For Me," online right now for a limited time. I think folks around here might enjoy it.

Happy Halloween!

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

That was a great short, Victor. I liked it a lot!

The site said it was a draft; holler at me if you need a beta or copy editor; I REALLY liked Whitney and this story.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Thanks for posting that, Victor. Great read.

Thanks, Strix and -t! And Strix, I'm actually rather happy with it as is, but at its current length, it's unsellable, so I'm probably going to blow it up to a full length novel. Not abandoning it , though, no matter what: the reaction's been great, and I love writing Whitney. She's a total blast.

I would LOVE to read more about Whitney; I endorse your novel plan!
