Hey, Gud (sorry to hijack the thread, but this is the last place I saw you), I am going to be in KC area Friday Aug 3rd, and am getting together with Strix & dcp for lunch, so if your schedule happens to be free, would love to see you too, so hie thee over to F2F!
The Great Write Way, Act Three: Where's the gun?
A place for Buffistas to discuss, beta and otherwise deal and dish on their non-fan fiction projects.
I posted in F2F.
On the writing side, I've started my rough draft of Cog and the Copper Dragon. Well, started it a few days ago. I don't like the start, but I can fix it later. I don't want to get hung up on it.
Go Gud Go!
So I seem to have a half-hour reading slot at WorldCon. Luckily, it is the 7-7:30 slot before the Hugos, so everyone will be getting prettified, and I can practice reading in private. It is tempting to screen some of OMWF or Janestown or something. I have things I can read. Still. Panic-flail.
That's awesome! (What does that mean exactly?)
Oooh!! (What she said.)
SOX!
Awesome!
It means I'm listed on my first con schedule - which is really cool. I'm still way more excited about going to all the readings and panels I can - so that's where my focus is going. It means I'm on a panel (there are a billion of those), staffing a workshop, and reading for a half hour to chairs before I go squee at Seanan and Jo Walton and and and... So yeah, slight squee. And terror. Lots of terror.
Wow, Sox! So exciting!
Thanks Amy, PC, Strix and T!
