Everything looks good from here... Yes. Yes, this is a fertile land, and we will thrive. We will rule over all this land, and we will call it... 'This Land.' I think we should call it 'your grave!' Ah, curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal! Ha ha HA! Mine is an evil laugh! Now die! Oh, no, God! Oh, dear God in heaven!

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Or should I just let it go, and go to the grocery store?

It's all written, proofed and ready to publish.

I know I'm feeding the troll, but I can't let it go. It's, um, therapeautic?

And anyway, I need to get some content on my blog this week; I've been wrapped up in resumes.

I may be a dumbass, but I'm kinda happy to be pissed about something other than politics this week.

I promise I won't feed a troll for another 6 months, though.

Have a burger, troll.

So it's here, FWIW. [link]

I'mma finish this glass of tea, off to the store and back to editing resume.

I feel better.

Erin, I think you'd appreciate this story.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

So I didn't win my songwriting contest again this year. Woes. But I should receive my critique next week, which I am much looking forward to. Afterward, I think I will pony up the bucks to get it properly demo'd so I can start working with my songwriting critique dude.

At least I submitted. Can mark that off this year's New Year's Resolutions.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I am working on a new play. I haven't told ANYONE, not even my husband--I have had two false starts in the last few years and I know how badly he wants me to work and how very good he has been about no bugging me, since he knows I was distressed about not being able to jump back into play writing. Anyway, this idea came to me and it is itching to be written. I am finding it SO much easier than my previous attempts, which feels very good. I want to surprise him with a first draft.

Since I am not talking to anyone IRL about this, I will keep you posted on page count.
