Doing it now, Erin. As both, I have thoughts about this!

The Great Write Way, Act Three: Where's the gun?
A place for Buffistas to discuss, beta and otherwise deal and dish on their non-fan fiction projects.
Wren: quixotic, self-aware, loving
Gabriel: steady, aware, challenging (as in he challenges Wren)
Stephen said self-aware about Wren, and it honestly never occurred to me! He also said quirky, which is a cousin of quixotic! Very interesting. And thank you, dear!
Well, I realized, too, after I wrote those out that nos. 1 & 2 for Wren & Gabriel are very yin & yang to each other.
You wrote them so well! And I've got what you sent me as my prize for finishing the scene that will not die, so that's why you haven't heard from me. I don't want you freaking out or anything.
Not freaking at all. Just trying so hard to get this book DONE and away from me, for a while anyway. Not to worry. I have yours to read a reward, as well.
Erin, which email are using for this stuff? I have, like, three for you in my contacts.
Erin, insent to the wordslinger address.
Amy, got it and backflung; all emails go to the same addy now, but Wordslinger is what I'm using for professional issues.
Can't wait to read Cold Kiss!
And Barb, I JUST now realized I haven't gotten back to you on D., although I've read it twice now. Tomorrow, I swear! But I have to get up at 6 am and swore I'd be in bed by 11.
Thanks, all!
Amy - Wren: independent, innovative, stubborn. (I agree with S & B on self-aware) Gabriel: solid, partner, wry (also yes to challenging)
You did write them well. I'm looking forward to seeing what they'll do next.
Leif has started reading my rough draft of Cog. He's already flagged two mistakes.
Copyeditor in the making!
Speaking of which...here's my article on editing and copyediting, with quotes from some lovely Buffistas.
