A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Amy, got it and backflung; all emails go to the same addy now, but Wordslinger is what I'm using for professional issues.

Can't wait to read Cold Kiss!

And Barb, I JUST now realized I haven't gotten back to you on D., although I've read it twice now. Tomorrow, I swear! But I have to get up at 6 am and swore I'd be in bed by 11.

Thanks, all!

not your mom's socks.

Amy - Wren: independent, innovative, stubborn. (I agree with S & B on self-aware) Gabriel: solid, partner, wry (also yes to challenging)

You did write them well. I'm looking forward to seeing what they'll do next.

Coding and Sleeping

Leif has started reading my rough draft of Cog. He's already flagged two mistakes.

I asked a couple people for off-board ~ma, one of whom kindly suggested I take it up here as well, so here I go - ignore if this is a repeat.

A story has been sitting on an editor's desk for a while - and I'm hoping this mean good things, and not lost things. Any acceptance~ma you all have to spare would be appreciated. Or, you know, fingers crossed, candles lit, etc.

Always Anti-fascist!

I feel like I'm trying to write something bigger than my skills.

Acquisition -ma to Sox!

and erika, I *SO* feel like that sometimes. It's frustrating, but sometimes it's just a plateau.

Because books.

Glass Heart seems to be the new title for the sequel to Cold Kiss. I am incredibly underwhelmed. (My working title was Dark Stars, and it really grew on me, even in terms of theme. But it was deemed too "sci-fi." Um.)

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I'm trying to write 1,200 words on something I can't get information - consistent information - on. Talked to three people, got three different answers to some details. Google isn't helping much. hmmm ... time to blather?
