Out of those, I like this the best. Although "Cooling the Climate Crisis" has some nice alliteration going for it. On the other hand, it sounds like you're just trying to cool the political crisis, i.e. make everyone stop yelling so loudly.
Or shorter
"Cooling a Fevered Planet: Beyond Carbon Pricing".
No longer has the word "politics" in it, but hopefully that is implied.
Or: "Cooling Fevered Earth: Beyond Carbon Pricing".
Cause we really don't care how hot Venus gets.
Is your target audience likely to know about carbon pricing? Enough to go "Yeah, I want to read that book!"?
