Oh yes, and congrats Typo Boy! I said it on Facebook, but no reason not to say it here too.

The Great Write Way, Act Three: Where's the gun?
A place for Buffistas to discuss, beta and otherwise deal and dish on their non-fan fiction projects.
Thanks Gud.
What is the protocol for Beta-ing? I mean of course expectations can be anything if mutually agreed, but is normal beta-ing one-read-and-comment? Or is normal beta-ing, beta, give feedback, and then beta the modified results?
I think it's pretty much whatever people are willing to do for you.
I'm up to chapter 23 on my last revision before grammar-mistake and weak-verb/adverb hunting.
Typo Boy, the discussion that started here was about group critique experiences, but I think the advice would apply to beta-reading just as well.
Yes. I guess then I'll just x-post from press. I'm looking for Beta readers for my new work in progress, first section to be reader for review by the middle of this month (Nov. 2010). I'm grateful for any level of feedback people are willing to give, but please let me know if you are willing to do multiple iterations. Profile addy is good.
I'll do some. Of course, you already know I'm not a scientific genius and will be following you around like Columbo asking about "One more thing," Except I won't be faking...I really am that ignorant.
I'd like to help, but I'm swamped this month and I already have a backlog of beta reading.
I've reached the half-way point of my current revision. This is the revision where I'm evaluating the comments from people who've read it. After this revision, it'll just a sweep to fix errors and writing the synopsis.
